Anti-Spam Policy
Last updated: July 20, 2026
LocalBasics ("we", "us", "our") is committed to responsible email practices. This policy states our position on unsolicited email and applies to everyone acting for or in connection with LocalBasics — our employees, contractors, agents, affiliates, resellers, partners, and any third party — with respect to localbasics.com and every domain owned or operated by LocalBasics.
1. Prohibition on Unsolicited Bulk Email
We prohibit the use of unsolicited bulk email ("UBE" or "spam") to advertise or promote localbasics.com, the LocalBasics service, or any LocalBasics-owned domain or website. No sender — including LocalBasics itself, its affiliates, resellers, partners, or any third party — is authorized to promote LocalBasics through spam.
2. Email Standards We Hold Ourselves To
Any email sent by or on behalf of LocalBasics must:
- Accurately identify LocalBasics as the sender, with truthful header information and non-deceptive subject lines;
- Include a working, one-step unsubscribe mechanism in every commercial message;
- Honor every unsubscribe and opt-out request promptly, and permanently record it in our suppression list so the recipient is not contacted again;
- Include a valid physical postal address;
- Comply with all applicable laws, including the U.S. CAN-SPAM Act and equivalent legislation in other jurisdictions.
3. Practices We Do Not Engage In or Permit
- Harvesting email addresses from websites or other sources without consent for the purpose of bulk mailing;
- Using false or misleading sender identities, headers, or subject lines;
- Sending to addresses that have opted out or bounced;
- Permitting affiliates, resellers, or partners to advertise LocalBasics through unsolicited bulk email. Violation of this policy by an affiliate or partner results in termination of the relationship.
4. Suppression and Opt-Out
We maintain a permanent, domain-aware suppression list. Anyone who opts out of LocalBasics email — or asks that their domain not be contacted — is excluded from all future sending. To be added to our suppression list, or to remove your entire domain, contact us at the address below.
5. Reporting Abuse
If you believe you have received spam advertising LocalBasics or any LocalBasics domain, please report it to support@localbasics.com with the full message headers if possible. We investigate every report, suppress the affected addresses, and act against any sender violating this policy.
